So today, I’d like to share with you a quote that I had no idea existed until I stumbled upon it while surfing through someone else’s blog. There’s a quote called “The Three Levels of Self-Awareness” that is often attributed to buddha, which I think is a pretty good metaphor.

We all have an awareness of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, but it’s not until we start to consciously recognize them that we can control them. In other words, we can’t control our habits until we consciously recognize them. In this way, we’ve all “tried” to make our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions and it just hasn’t worked.

Its easy to point fingers at people who are self aware and say, “well, they were never that self aware,” when really they were probably the ones that did need to be self aware. Its easy to say, “they were never that aware of their actions” even when they were. It’s easy to say that we’ve never been in the right mental state when we were self aware.

We all have habits, routines, impulses, and reactions that we take for granted. Even when we’re not consciously aware of them, we can still consciously recognize them. We can know for sure that we’re in the right mental state when we’re mindful of the things that keep us from going off into that mental state.

And that is the real crux of the matter. When we are in the right mental state we are in the right mental state. Or, as an old Chinese proverb puts it, when are in the right state of mind, we are in the right state of mind.

We are all aware of the things that keep us from the right state of mind, but if we are not aware that we are in the right state of mind, then we are not in the right state of mind. We are not in the “right” state of mind. But the real crux of the matter is we can only be in the right state of mind if we are consciously aware of it.

One way to consciously be aware is to be in a state of consciousness. This state of consciousness is most often described as “being awake.” In this state we are awake to the world around us, aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and aware of our surroundings. We have a feeling of being present to the world around us.

Consciousness is a state of mind. But there are several ways to be aware to the world around us. One way is to be in a state of awareness. Another way is to be aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and aware of our surroundings. Both of these states are awareness. So how are we conscious of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions? Consciousness is the state of being aware.

When we’re aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions, then we’re aware of the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that we’re experiencing. It’s like being aware of the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that we’re experiencing. We’re aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions because we are. We are aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions because we are aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

We are aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions because we are aware of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
