The Food Fashion Valley is a project created at the University of California, San Diego, and was founded by food writer and author, Chris Trotter. It is a collaboration between the Food & Wine Network and several other local food publications and media companies to showcase the creativity and passion that chefs, food writers, and food stylists are bringing to the table every day.
This month in the Food Fashion Valley, an article about the food stylists and their creative ways in publishing the first installment of “Sensational Food” in the Style section of the San Diego Union-Tribune. The article also gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the team behind the project, the food stylists who have worked on the project, and how they got started.
The reason that we love this article so much is because of the amazing creative way that chef- stylists have been designing their own food. A lot of the food stylists I’ve worked with over the years have been on the creative side of the work. One of the things that most chefs have been doing is making a food stylist. The food stylists have a lot to learn, and they’ve had a career change when they were hired (from the chef side).

The food stylists can do a lot of things the chefs can’t, but in my opinion, the greatest benefit is that when you work with a food stylist, your creativity is at your command. A chef can create beautiful dishes, but its the stylists that take that to another level. They have a lot of design and color sense. They can do a lot of things the chefs can’t.
My favorite part about working with the food stylists is that the stylists are so passionate about what they do, and they know that they want to make the food they do look great. It feels like youre in a good environment. It feels like youre learning more than just making a dish, because the food stylist is so committed to making the food look great.
You may not find the food stylists on a daily basis, but if you’re lucky enough to get a chance to work with someone, chances are they’ll be the first to admit they think you’re pretty amazing.
